If I had a nickel for every set of unnecessary quotation marks I’ve deleted from work-related documents … I’d have a really heavy bag of five cent pieces. It’s nice to see that my favorite comedian understands that putting something in quotes often tells the reader that you mean the opposite of what your words say.
I am writing, primarily, to tell you that I’ve added just a few more shows to my tour. I will be in Boise Idaho on March 6th and in Colorado Springs on March 7th. Then on the 8th of March I’m doing one show at the MGM Grand Garden arena in Las Vegas. That show will definitely be “Off the chain”. And I put off the chain in quotes because… it won’t be off the chain. That show will be firmly ON the chain, meaning I will be well prepared with well-honed material.
